Theres a 92k mile, 1 owner yellow T5-R !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in NJ for $5,000. Its not perfect, but its by far the cleanest yellow T5-R I've seen for under $10k, and unlike a lot of them, this one hasn't been modified to hell and back by god knows what tuner shop (or worse, god knows what self-proclaimed modification expert owner). The owner is a well known and respected member of the SwedeSpeed community, and despite this not being a wagon, I'm sitting here fighting every urge to not jump on the next flight to Newark to pick this baby up.

I'm really good at spending other people's money, and I really wanted one of those when I was in high school a decade ago. Therefore, you should buy. Now.

If this was a wagon, I'd pick it up as a 3rd car. Being a sedan, I'm very tempted to sell the Miata for this.

Want me to ask my dad if he can take a drive down to check it out?

No. That wouldn't end well for anyone involved.

Really NP. Also, he seems to be a big Volvo guy seeing as he is a member of SwedeSpeed and you can clearly see a new XC60 in the back there as well!
Seems like a great car

Not everyone.... If you back out, at least my dad might find something to replace that gawdawful GM malaisemobile he's been running into the ground all winter.

Lies. No woman has ever been attracted to a Volvo-driving man.

If this was a wagon, he probably wasn't asking $5k.

False. The man has Volvo diecasts and I'm clearly still attracted.
The Mustang doesn't hurt though.

There was a yellow wagon that sold last week for $4000. Sold so fast by word of mouth that it wasn't even listed on any Volvo forums or Craigslist.

I still maintain that having this would make a great trade for a wagon.

Well, I don't really know how they value over there but here in Europe the wagon is way more popular (and therefor pricier) than the sedan. As a matter of fact I think this goes for all wagon-versions over here.

There are people out there that assume that because its rare (only 35 originally shipped to the US in 1995) you can charge a lot of money for it. About a year ago, there was one guy trying to sell his yellow wagon on eBay for $22k. For the condition it was in, I probably would've gone for it at $6k.

I do have one of the 35. I am the 3rd owner and the 2nd owner had it from 98 to 2013 when I picked it up. That's true people think they are super valuable but there has to be some extra value over the standard 850 seeing the amount of them here in the US.

True, but for a while people were trying to sell them for $15-25k which is absurd. You wouldn't happen to be looking to be selling it would you? I'm always in the market for [a reasonably priced] one.
